Merto Software Solutions referral programme for the United Kingdom and international businesses: how referrals work, rewards for referrers, discounts for referred clients, and frequently asked questions.

If you have Merto360, your reference number is in your workspace and helps us match referrals to you. If you do not have access to Merto360, the programme is still open to anyone: the referred business can name who referred them when they first contact Merto, or you can email or phone us with the business details and your name so we can credit you.

Refer a business and get rewarded

We reward word-of-mouth. The programme is open to anyone aged 18 or over. You do not need to be an existing client. When you introduce a business that becomes a Merto client, you choose a thank-you reward and they save on their first project.

Your reference number lives in your workspace

If you have Merto360, you can find your reference number there. Use it when you submit a referral so we can credit you correctly.

No Merto360 access? That is fine. Ask the business to tell us who referred them (your name and how we can reach you) when they first email or call, or contact us yourself with the same details plus enough information for us to reach them. We will still treat it as your referral.

How the referral programme works

Three steps from introduction to reward, transparent and written in plain English.

Make the introduction

If you have Merto360, log in and submit the referral with your reference number. If you do not, have the business contact us by email or phone and name you as the referrer (with your contact details), or reach out yourself with the business details. We need enough information to contact them and to know who referred them.

We follow up

Our team contacts the business for an introduction. If they become a paying client, both you and your referral benefit under the programme rules.

Rewards are issued

After their first invoice is paid, we send your chosen reward and apply their first-project discount in line with our terms.

  • 10% off their first project, capped at £5,000

Rewards are issued after the referred client's first invoice is paid, subject to the eligibility rules in our terms.

No. Anyone aged 18 or over can refer a business to Merto and take part in the programme.
Rewards are issued once the referred business has signed a contract with Merto and paid their first invoice. We issue rewards within 90 days of that first payment.
For the maximum £250 reward, the first project must be at least £1,000 in value or be a 12-month minimum contract.
You can choose one: £250 cash or invoice credit, 3 hours of Merto consultancy, or a £250 donation to a registered charity in your name.
They receive 10% off their first project with Merto (capped at £5,000). We apply this in our system.
Yes. There is no limit. Each successful referral earns a reward.
The reward goes to the first valid referral we received for that business.
The programme is open to anyone. If you have Merto360, submit the referral there with your reference number so we can match it to you. If you do not have access, that is fine: ask the business to tell us who referred them (your name and how we can reach you) when they first get in touch, or email or phone us yourself with the business details and your details. We just need enough information to contact them and to record you as the referrer.
Only referrers with a Merto360 workspace have a reference number. You can find it inside Merto360. If you do not have Merto360, you do not need a number: make sure the business names you when they contact us, or contact us directly with your name and theirs so we can credit you.
You can still take part. The programme is open to anyone aged 18 or over, not only clients. Have the referred business mention who referred them when they email or call, or send us the introduction yourself with your name, your contact details, and enough information about the business for us to reach them.
